Digital Education and Learning Laboratory (DELL) is a step towards integrating technology into education under the aegis of the Commissionerate of Higher Education and implemented by SCOPE. DELL projects enable colleges to train students in computer-based courses and connect them to the outside world via internet facilities.
DELLs act as knowledge hubs for higher education. They support teaching, learning, and examinations, and provide open-source and proprietary software to enhance ICT usage in the teaching-learning process.
DELL is LAN and internet-connected, allowing access to e-resources for all higher education courses and facilitating research and learning through ICT tools.
Society for Creation of Opportunity through Proficiency in English
Centre established in the college in March 2010
SCOPE, established in 2007 by the Government of Gujarat, builds English language proficiency in youth to create employment opportunities. It has a network of 200+ centres and runs on a successful PPP model. Cambridge English Language Assessment, University of Cambridge, UK, and Pearson, UK are the assessment and certification partners. The program conducts online exams at a massive scale, unique globally.
SCOPE addresses three challenges of education – Access, Equity, and Quality – and implements programs via PPP (Public Private Partnership) and ITP (Institutional Training Partnership) models with over 800 training centres across the state.
