The library is the heart of the college. It is equipped with all the facilities necessary for augmenting the teaching-learning process. The following features of the library are worth mentioning:

The Central Library situated in the college campus is a storehouse of information. There is a collection of a vast number of books, reference books, journals, magazines, and periodicals. A wide collection of DVDs containing lectures on various topics of different subjects is also available in the library.

There is a facility of internet surfing for students as well as teachers through which information on any topic can be gathered. A comfortable air-conditioned reading room for students has been constructed, which many students regularly use to read periodicals, newspapers, and career-oriented magazines.

The teachers are provided with a separate seating facility for reading and reference. The Poor Boys’ Library Scheme supports economically weaker students and those from SC/ST/OBC categories.

A vocational guidance centre provides help for NET/SLET and other competitive examinations. Two separate air-conditioned research cabins are also available (one serves as the NAAC office).

New arrivals are displayed prominently, and students also have access to a BISAG room and an AV-equipped lecture room for interactive learning. The INFLIBNET N-List facility provides access to a wealth of research and academic resources.
